It was very, very hot when we did this shoot, and it was also naptime. But Little Tyler was the a dream to shoot. He could be a Gap model!

I did her newborn shoot, and was thrilled when her mom called me to take her pics again:) She's absolutely perfect! And oh, so pretty in pink!

Mother Nature is the boss of me.

Well, due to the storms last night, I have no power. It went out at 5pm on Monday June 9th, and still isn't on (it's 3pm on June 10th). I packed up my kids and I'm at my mom's. According to AEP we might be out for another 24 hours.....so........another delay. I'm going to go home and get my PC and monitor in a couple of hours so that I can work on pics while I'm here. Keep your fingers crossed that they get us fixed soon (there are only a few houses in my neighborhood out, so we are on the bottom of the electric totem pole.) I apologize for the inconvenience.

Studio space!

I am now the proud renter of 1400 square feet of yummy studio space in Leo! I am sharing the space with 3 good friends and photographers. I will put photos of the studio on as soon as we get it set up (we are moved in, and are setting it up Monday, June 2nd).

Pricing....oh,how I hate to figure out pricing. I've done extensive research on other photographers in this area who do the same type of photography. I've also collaborated with other photographers, and that is how I come up with my prices. I thought it only fair to share with you as to where your money goes:

My biz

We said goodbye to my husband a couple of weeks ago. He will be in Kuwait for a year. I had surgery on March 20th and require about a month to recover. We will be going to New Orleans to visit my husband from April 22nd-April 29th. So it looks like shooting gets pushed back to May. I apologize for the inconvenience.
